How it works
People & businesses who wish to supply a service register on Gleemo. They setup their profile providing information about their service and add the services they want to supply.
Anyone looking for a service can post a request which is sent to all the local people who supply that service. They can then respond with questions or if they are happy, they can provide a quote.
You then select the person you feel is best for the job. He/she completes the job and you both leave feedback for each other.
Buyer
For example, I live in Ringsend, Dublin. I want my car serviced. I post a request. A few hours later all the mechanics and garages who service Ringsend send me a quote. Instead of going for the cheapest I decide I’ll go for the one who has the best feedback. Also, I see I have a friend in common through facebook with this person. It turns out one of my friends is his customer. I give my friend a call to see what the story is with this lad. My friends says he’s been with him years. Perfect! I hire that person to do the job. He/she provides the service and we both leave feedback for the next person.
Or instead of posting a request I can browse through the categories or use the search engine. I can see how many customers a person has. I have added my facebook profile to my account so if anyone of my friends or friends of my friends have used this person’s service through Gleemo and left feedback I am going to know. I can also see what feedback this person has gotten from his/her customers.
Seller
I am an accountant and I service the Cork city area. I setup my profile and add tons of information about my service. I also add my facebook profile to my account. I know that when someone views my page if I have friends or friends of friends in common that person will know. It will give me more creditability.
I also write a few articles as they will appear in search engines giving my profile a better chance of been found.
I have created a job alert. I am only interested in working in Cork. So when someone posts a request looking for accounting services in Cork I get an email. If I’m interested in the work, I’ll submit a proposal along with a quote.

Gleemo does not vet anyone who registers on our website. We merely provide information. It’s your responsibility to ensure you do the proper checks before hiring someone.
